Question about my application to East Carolina University.

So I called ECU today and asked them about my application. First of all I took the SAT back in November and didn't get the score I wanted so I took it again and made a 1470. I also have a around a 3.8 unweighted GPA I'm not sure what that is weighted. And I have good EC's but I talked to her and she said that the person in charge of my application hadn't got my new scores but she said that she emailed her and I should find back out in week? Is that a good sign, bad sign, or does it mean nothing? But also chance me while you're here if you can but more importantly just give me feedback about my question, thanks guys!

somebody please help!

Do you mean they will email you in a week with their decision or they will email you to inform you of whether they received your newer test scores? If she is confident that they did not receive your new scores and are already in the process of making a decision, then that is a very bad sign. But if she isn’t completely sure if someone has received your new scores yet, then I wouldn’t be so worried yet.

Were I to assume that the admissions office did (or will eventually) receive your 1470, then you will very probably get in.

No before I called my application was pending because they wanted my new scores. But I sent them off a couple of weeks ago and they got them. But she said the lady handling my application hadn’t received my updated scores yet but she said she emailed her my new scores and she said they would send me letter in 7-10 days.

Oh, OK. I think you should be good then. If everything is finally getting straightened out, then (as I said before) you have a very good chance of being accepted.

ok thanks that’s what I was hoping to hear just from somebody else though!
