Question about mytutor.com/Summit Education Group Book/Classes

Has anyone taken a course by Summit Educational Group(mytutor.com)? If so, can you comment on it? Is the book helpful?

I have an 800 Math but want to bring up my verbal writing scores to 700(750 if possible). I'm taking it again in October.

I got a postcard from them today and I've never heard of them before. I think its all one-on-one tutoring which is nice.

They run SAT prep classess in a local private school, and I've heard there were a lot of complaints.

Don't do it. They offered classes at my local public school and promised to be "the most successful prep company"

My friend took the SAT before the course and scored a 1750. He took it afterwards and scored a 1770. Does this seem like success to you?

Plus it costs a good deal of money...I'd say the only plus side of the course is they administer actual SATs from the CB's blue book. Take my advice, follow the xiggi method and do the tests on ur own
