Question about National Merit Thing

I got the letter for National Merit Scholarship first round. My score was a 213, and so I'm not too confident about making it into another round, as the competition is pretty tough.

My question is, what colleges should I send my scores to? It gives two free reports, but I'm at a point where narrowing down my college list is not something I foresee in the future. I looked over the list of schools that give out these scholarships, and most of the schools I am considering aren't on there.

I'm thinking about sending it to UC Berkeley (I live right nearby, and its on that list). But the other college I'm not sure. Would it be beneficial to send it to say UPenn or Columbia even though they're not on that list? Or should I send it to UCLA?

Thanks.

The cutoff for NM semifinalist in California has been around 216 for the past three years. Without knowing this year's cutoff, it's hard to predict whether you made it or not.

This early in the game, it really doesn't matter whom you send the two reports to, unless they're schools that normally don't get a lot of NM applicants. Most of the top schools won't care, to be honest.
