So this year I'm taking Physics C, but it turns out it's only the mechanics part, not the electricity and magnetism part, so i thought maybe i'll just study for that independently

however, since i never found the time to do so, I won't be taking the physics c: electricity and magnetism part of the exam, even though i listed it on my college apps saying that i'm going to be taking this exam in may (5 ap exams without physics C: E&M is already enough for me now)

should i tell my colleges that before may 1st? or does it not matter as much in terms of admissions?

to me, it just seems pretty minor, i feel confident that my acceptances will not be revoked because of this, even if i don't tell them

but i also want to confirm it since i'm still uncertain as to what to do

It really doesn't matter. Adcoms are basing their decisions based on tests you've already taken, not tests you plan to take, and they definitely don't have time to follow up on every applicant to make sure they do the AP exams they said they'd do.

sounds good, i just wanted to make sure, haha

also on the conditions of admission or whatever that thing is called, it only saids to finish up senior courses listed in application, it never said anything about finishing ap exams that were listed, haha

E+M asks the same questions, whereas mech asks questions in intuitive ways to test your analytical skills, which is why I found E+M a lot easier. Probably why I also got a 5 in E+M but a 3 in Mech
