Question about notification

Hi everyone,

I applied to Yale in the Early Action process. Did anyone of you got a short email notification FROM Yale saying that your application arrived (sort of a mass mail, I mean) ?
I got a notification from the Common Application but not from Yale so I was just wondering.

Thanks!

Nope I don’t think you get an email from Yale until they give you your Eli account, which can come up to three weeks from now.

I didn’t get anything either yet

Nope, not yet. Eli account takes about 3 weeks. I did get contacted by an alum for my interview, however.

How long after submission was that sd6?

Well, I submitted my Supplement and Payment on 10/20 and my Common App on 10/26. I was contacted for an interview on 11/1, but I live in a fairly congested area of NY (outside of NYC), so I’m not surprised that an interviewer was readily available.

Well, I live in a fairly congested area of Delhi,India(Delhi is fully congested anyway-Think NYC), so there ought to be no dearth of interviewers here too. I submitted everything on 1st Nov, EST- 10:00 pm.(aren’t I the early bird?). I hope I get contacted soon!
Thanks for your help:)

My D just received an email from Yale that provided information to set up an “Eli Account” that will allow her to monitor Yale application and eventually, to receive her admissions decision online.

^Got it too. =)

I got the Eli Account info in an email too. Is anyone having trouble setting it up, though? There are a lot of different links, and I’m not sure which link you have to use to set it up.

EDIT: Never mind!

^Lol, yeah, I was quite confused at first.

ccuser18 when did you submit your application?

ccuser18 when did you submit your application? [/quote

I submitted my app on Oct 28, and got an Eli account and an Alumni Interview email today, Nov 4.

Ok! That’s comforting. I submitted October 30, haven’t received anything yet but it’s been less than a week.
