question about parents' education

<p>on the common apps, we have to provide our parents' education level....</p>

<p>for my parents, it's kinda confusing cuz they lived in china and it was so much different there. but anyway, my dad went to this music instituion -- chinese opera instution to be exact. what does that qualify as??? it's not a college. i don't think julliard is a college?.....</p>

<p>See if you can find it on the college search function first because a lot of the foreign universities won’t pop up. That section of the app isn’t mandatory anyways.</p>
