<p>it will appear for credit if it's needed for credit (i.e. you need 3 PE classes to graduate). Otherwise, you don't take it for credit.</p>

<p>I took a total of 5 or 6 gym classes at Cornell. I didn't need any to graduate, but they were tons of fun and a great way to take your mind off of school work for a bit. I highly recommend it to other students as well.</p>
