Well... I want to go to law school. And personal statements are a requirement.

But... THERE IS NOTHING UNIQUE ABOUT ME! I am a pretty plain, average guy!

BUT I REALLY HAVE A PASSION FOR LEARNING!!!!

What to do?

And also... what kind of extracurriculars do they want? Is it like transferring from a community college to a University, that kind of stuff? VOlunteer work, clubs, etc.?

Thank you all very much for your help and assistance!

The vast majority of law school applicants have also led normal, unextraordinary lives. Your topic matters less than your ability to execute. You could write about virtually anything and pull off a great PS as long as your prose is strong.

Don't freak out about the personal statement. It matters, but it doesn't matter that much. Your GPA and LSAT outweigh things like the PS on a massive level. Get numbers that would make you competitive for schools you like. After that, the rest of the app is pretty easy.

ECs are generally classified as activities or clubs you participated in during college or during the summers. Law schools require nothing specific and nothing ridiculous. As long as you demonstrate some commitment to a few ECs, you should be fine. Transferring from a community college to a university would be a part of your academic record, not your ECs.
