<p>Hi, so I applied ed to cas, and i just realized now (yes, now..) that, even though all of my personal statements and statement about what I did during the summer were all missing a word or two at the very end. I had checked my statements more times than I can remember to make sure everything I had fit into the alotted space, and am stressing over why the last word or two of each one is not showing up on the PDF of my app...</p>
<p>does anyone know who I should contact in order to have this problem corrected? thanks in advance...</p>
<p>When the personal statements were copied and pasted into the boxes, they automatically cutoff anything over the 500 character limit. Everything fit into the box, however words were cut out. I would call the admissions office and see if this is an isolated problem on your apps. If not I would ask if a change could be made, however if it is over the 500 character limit im sure they will not allow the change.</p>
<p>Did you use Embark? I applied using NYU's Embark, and for me, the boxes would cut off the statements as I pasted it in at around the 500 mark. I do not understand...it just does not make sense for only the last word or two of each of my answers to be within the limit of the box, yet not be able to show up on the PDF of my application. I checked my answers while they were in the boxes several times to make sure they were coherent and in their entirety...this is why I am especially confused. Just one or two words from each one! </p>
<p>Anyway, thanks for your reply...I am just going to send an email to <a href="mailto:admissions.ops@nyu.edu">admissions.ops@nyu.edu</a> explaining what happened, repaste my answers, and indicate the last word or two that were missing. </p>
<p>Literally I am looking at my answer now, and a total of 7 short words are missing altogether from my 4 personal statements, plus my statement about the summer. I swear that they all fit when I had copied and past ed them!! Has anyone else had this problem? Sorry for the rant..</p>
