Z-list offers are not made before RD decisions have been made, and generally are not made until summer.
ETA: Oops, I just realized OP answered that this is not a z-list situation.
@trynagetthere - The z-list is a moniker that does not explain the full extent of the phenomenon. There are “early admits” who are also asked to take a year before enrolling. But if you’re not, then great! Sorry for making assumptions. If I were you I would just enroll at the college. Why delay your life? Believe me, if you have been accepted under a normal admissions process, you will do just fine at HYPS.
BTW, I hope you meant that your testing is in the top 25% percentile and not the top 75%!
