Question about Physics 8A (Fajans)

wow can someone answer this simple questions?

okay so i did horribly on the second midterm…
what is the usual grade distrbution in the end?
I know 25% get A and A-s. What about Bs? And is the mean for each midterm classified as a B?

thanks

minor bump

do we need to know all of chapter 13 or just some parts of it?

anyone have any tips for Fajan’s Physics 8A Final?

bump? finals tomorrow

bump…just signed up for fajans…any information on how he was this semester? did he even teach this semester?

bumping again…how’d you guys feel about the class so far?

the material isn’t hard or anything, it’s just that every thing that can communicate the information does it in a *****y way. Fajans lectures are a joke, GSI is nice but doesn’t really stay on topic, and the book is crap. what do you guys think so far?

make sure to understand some of the sample problems he gives in lecture, those tend to pop up on exams

wow really sample problems in class? GG. As if he can actually explain it well. The only one I understood was the wagon pulling one. I don’t like him as a teacher and my gsi goes off topic a lot too.

a wagon-pulling one popped up on my MT1, i think it was word-for-word the same as what he did in class

also when you say workbook, do you mean like the lab handbook/worksheets?

yessirrrrrrrrrr

arggggg…he’s such a terrible teacher.

since calculators aren’t allowed (and many masteringphysics/workbook probs require calculators), do we simply leave our answers in equation form?

that or he’ll give us really easy numbers I’m guessing…
