I attended an ArtSci weekend and have completed registration for classes. As it turns out, I took all the wrong placement tests (or at least according to those I spoke to at WashU. I ended up just signing up for classes my teachers recommended--a lower math class, etc.) Do I need to take placement tests now after already signing up for classes? (Ex: general chemistry placement after already signing up, higher math placement--even if I won't be taking the class, Spanish placement if I plan on taking the language in the future but not this semester, etc.) I was hoping someone here will know because I'm kind of embarrassed I screwed up so completely...

I believe all freshmen are required to take the chemistry diagnostic due to recitation placement. Math should be fine if you’re comfortable with the course for which you registered, and you can probably take a Spanish placement exam anytime in the future.

Thank you for your help, RaVNzCRoFT!
