Question about planned spring classes on UC application

Hi,

I know that the UC application asks all applicants what classes they will take in spring and winter. I already know which classes I will take. The thing is, the application must be filed by the 30th of November. I won't be able to enroll in classes until a few days after. I go to Santa Monica College, which is known for making it difficult to get the classes you want. I tend to get good enrollment dates, but still...

Let's say I planned to take certain classes this spring and stated so on my application and send it. Subsequently, I enroll in different classes out of necessity. Can I update the application in January to reflect this? I know that the January update is primarily for reporting fall semester grades, but can I also use it to change the classes I said I'd be taking?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, the update in January is also used to report the spring classes that you’re planning on taking.

OK. Thanks a lot!

Do you know if I should take Media 10 or Music 33 for the UCB AC’s req?

@bomerr

You go to SMC? Cool! Anyway, bot hsatify the requirement but I haven’t taken either one. Personally, I’d pick Media 10.
