Question about pre med requirements at community college

So, I'd like to transfer to UCLA or CAL next year and eventually go into medical school. I'm currently attending a community college and was wondering if there is any down side to taking most of my pre med required classes (chem organic bio calc physics) at my community college before I transfer rather then the UC. I'm assuming it will be MUCH easier this way. Does med shool frown upon this? Or will they perhaps not even know where I took them?

They’ll know. You’ll list your CC. As to whether it will matter, I think the answer is it depends on the med school. It is certainly more appropriate than those who are enrolled in a 4 year school who take courses at a CC in the summer. If we are talking bio, chem and organic maybe that matters more than calc, english, and stats but that’s just a guess. I’d also think that the intro bio and chem courses would be O.K. if you took higher level courses at your 4 year school later and did well. Likewise , if those were the only bio and chem courses you ever took I’d be very concerned.
