<p>I bought a barron AP statistics book in the hope of learning from the ground up. However, the text of first chapter just cover a small part of practice test and I go through the first chapter many times in order to find right answers but I failed. Do I need to read textbook prior to reading the barron AP statistics? THANK YOU!!!</p>

<p>You can learn AP Stats through a review book, because texbooks, imo, are more confusing.</p>
<p>If you MUST have a book for reference get the Practice of Statistics, any edition will suffice.</p>
