<p>yea i got $25,000...im a Lewis Rudin thingy and got the presidential honors program as well......i didn't know about the study abroad that sooo awesome!!!!</p>
<p>I didn't do anything other than fill out the application (they consider all NYU applicants), but my stats and stuff are quite good.</p>
<p>Laundry list: 1570, couple of 800s and a 790 on SAT IIs, 4.0, a few 5s on APs, plus I've been All-State in band and orchestra since freshman year.</p>
<p>Wait...I got the 10,000 merit scholarship, does this mean I get other perks like the cheaper study abroad opportunities as well? I hadn't heard anything about that...</p>
<p>Yeah. I have no idea what I get along with this, except it mentioned special lectures that we can attend.</p>

<p>Recently, they sent me an updated version of my financial aid package, and I had 25,000 as my award amount.</p>
<p>Do you think there's any chance that I would later be selected for the presidential honors program? or do you think it's just the money?</p>
