Question about QAS

The QAS doesn't show what you put for your answers? So what's the help in that? Don't you have to pay an EXTRA $25 to find out what YOU put down?

It does tell you…

It doesn’t.

Here’s what I got in my email:

Your request to purchase the SAT Question-and-Answer Service (QAS)
is now being processed for the:

SAT Reasoning Test on October 2007

The cost for this service is $18.00

Total Cost $18.00

The Question-and-Answer Service will be sent to you about
six weeks after your test date and will contain:

 • Your test questions
 • The correct answers
 • Your response to each question
 • Information about the type of question and level of difficulty
 • Scoring guidelines

Interesting, I guess I was wrong. Sorry, but at least I can find out which questions I got wrong on my SAT now. Yay.

QAS is offered for the Saturday test only in October and January, and for Saturday, Sunday, and SSD school testing dates in May.

Please note: In many cases, QAS materials may not arrive until after the next scheduled test date. Keep this in mind if you plan to use the materials to prepare for retesting.

QAS is not available for makeup test administrations or for U.S. military personnel testing under the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) program.
Ordering Information

You can order QAS when you register for the test, or when you receive your SAT scores. QAS can be ordered up to five months after the test date.

QAS materials are mailed six to eight weeks after the test. If you order QAS after you test, we will mail materials six to eight weeks after we receive your request.
Fees

The fee for the service is $18. With QAS, you can also order a copy of your answer sheet for an additional $25 fee. QAS is not refundable once the service has been fulfilled."

That’s for the answer sheet. The QAS tells you what answers you put. The answer sheet is what you bubbled during the test date.

Oh, now i get lol.

But wouldn’t the discrepancies be through your bubbling? Say you didn’t bubble something correctly and the machine didn’t pick it up. Wouldn’t that be something to look at for the hand score verification?

If you canceled your score but ordered the QAS, do you still get the QAS mailed to you?
