Question about questbridge

sorry if this is in the wrong sub-forum. Anyways, I want to go to Penn. I think I can become a questbridge finalist. Let’s say I only have Penn on my rankings, and they deny me through questbridge. Can I then forward my application to be considered during ED? Any responses are appreciated. Thanks in advance

I am fairly sure you cannot do the match and ED. There is a timing issue. Match is almost like ED though. If your EFC is 0 you can try the match but if your EFC isn’t 0 then I would just apply ED and RD to your schools. There are some schools that have been reported to have invited the student to the ED round though. That has been an indication that the college is going to admit them but not under the full ride of the match but under the regular, but still very generous, financial policies that low income students get normally.

And you may know but if you are not matched you will be forwarded to the RD pool and you may RD wherever else you like. For partner schools they will take your QB application also, and some partners may not require the common application (the Tufts admissions officer has said that in the Questbridge forum here.

Hello. You can apply to Questbridge through the Match program and if you are unmatched, you can switch your application over to ED round/RD round. So in short, YES to your question.
