Question about Quiet floors

So I’m attending msu in the fall and just reviewed my room assignment. I got placed on a quiet floor at case due to the fact that I put no preference for any categories when filling out my housing app (minus smoking) I am in JMC and everyone I’ve met so far isn’t on the quiet floor. I wanted to know, what’s it like? Are the people more antisocial? Is it co-ed? Alcohol free? And lastly if you were a resident of a quiet floor did you enjoy your time there or would you have gone a different route if you had the chance? I am a little nervous because I am a relatively social person, but I still do enjoy my sleep. Hoping I can get the best of both worlds here!

It’s social, there’ll be parties and activities, but it means it won’t be as loud as other freshman dorms and definitely no parties all night long in your room

It’s completely dependent on how your RA enforces it. Just because the school labels it as a “quiet floor”, doesn’t mean that it won’t get rowdy if your RA doesn’t care.
