I have a few questions about the Ray Street suite setup that an email to udel/has and then a follow-up call (as directed in the email reply) to facilities have been unable to answer. Maybe someone who has lived in Ray Street can tell me:

Does the shower have a door or do students need to supply a shower curtain and hooks?

Does the bathroom have a towel rack?

Is there a door between the room and the bathroom or just an opening?

Do the desks have a shelf/overhead unit on them, and if so, how is it attached?

Do the lounges on the 2nd floor Ray Street B have a microwave?

Thanks!

I have friends in Ray St. It's an awesome dorm! It has airconditioning that you control in the room. Also you might want to check out facebook because most dorms end up with a group there.

The showers have a curtain. There is a little area in front of the shower to hang your stuff while you're in there and a lot of people (girls anyway) buy another rod and curtain to give you a little more privacy while you're getting out of the shower. I know somepeople put another shower curtain in the middle to make sep areas for the toilet and shower. The rooms have their own sinks - how cool is that!

There are towel racks in the bathroom part.

There are doors between the rooms and the bathroom but they don't lock. The toilet in in a little cubicle with a door that locks.

The book shelf is a seperate thing that doesn't attach to the desk.

I can't remember for sure but I think there is a sink and micro in the lounges on the 2nd or 3rd floors but there is def a kitchen on the first floor.
