Question about Re-Application to US colleges

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I would like to know whether to apply as a freshman or a transfer student. Here is my present situation:</p>

<p>I was enrolled in a BS/MD program at SUNY Geneseo/Upstate Medical University after high school in 2010. After completing a full year, I was offered a place in to a 5 year medical school in the UK: Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Due to a set of unfortunate circumstances at the medical school, it is now my wish to return and pursue further education in the US. </p>

<p>Is it possible to start as a freshmen and choose the credits I want transferred from earlier? </p>

<p>Please help me out with this. </p>

<p>Colleges will want to know ALL the post-secondary education institutions you have attended, including the UK. You are applying as a Transfer Student because you attended a post-secondary institution after graduating from HS.</p>
