Is it okay to take Recitation class first and then take the lecture?

According to my schedule, I have a recitation from 12:00pm to 12:00pm
and then I have a lecture from 2:30 to 3:45pm

Does this affect anything? Because I thought recitation is pretty much a reviewing class with small group of people but I won't have anything to review on the first day of class, at least the first week

Thanks

I cannot answer your question, but it my be helpful to know what class. It might make a difference for physics, but not for a language.

It doesn’t matter at all. 90% of all recitations are useless anyways.

A) What CuttingEdge said.
B) Sometimes it’s actually helpful, because you’ll review RIGHT before you have a test (on days you have a test). That’s EXTREMELY helpful, especially since you’ll be able to ask questions then too. Unless recitation is where you’ll be taking your quizzes…in which case it doesn’t matter either way.

Also, some classes don’t even hold recitation the first week or so of class as well, because there’s nothing.

Usually if the recitation is before the first lecture, you either don’t meet or you meet and are just given outline information on the class and how it’s run.

If a recitation takes place before the scheduled lecture, all the kids in the class will also be in the same lecture as you so they will review accordingly based on the most previous lecture covered.
