Question about recommendation letter

Hello,

I am a American, but i have lived the past three years in Brazil, and i completed my secondary learning here. I have a question about my application. I have got the basics, such as my GPA transcripts , SAT/ACT score, and essay, but I had a question about my recommendation letter. Since I did an exchange year in Germany or a year, i was hoping i got a recommendation letter from my English teacher there, and got one from my English teacher here in Brazil also. The third recommendation letter I would like to send is giving me second thoughts. Since I am politically active in my state, I have the option to ask for a recommendation letter from my political party's president here in my state. It sounds like a good idea, but the party I am affiliated with is PCdoB, which is a Marxist party, although very large in Brazil. I know that in Brazil there are a lot of university professors with socialist viewpoints, but I do not know about the professors in the US. Would it be good to send this type o recommendation letter, or would only two suffice?

Thank you

I dont know much about this but I would say go ahead and get the third recommendation if it is going to add smething the others dont. I dont think that college officials will be mad of discriminate against you because you are marxist. In fact, the colleges want diversity.
