Hey all, of the schools I'm looking at I'm interested in U. of Wisconsin at Madison and U. of Texas at Austin. Both these schools have rolling admissions. I'm wondering if I could submit my applications to these schools first and send in my recs later (my recs might take at least another month). Would this benefit me in a rolling admissions system? Do schools process applications even if recommendations haven't been submitted? thanks for the help

Yes, the will benefit you in the sense that everything else will be done. The schools tend not to process the application until they have all the stuff they need, but it's better not to sit back and wait...as they might need clarification on something in your file.
