<p>Hi, everyone. I am new here and am hoping someone will be able to help me make a decision whether to retake a class. I currently am a college transfer student who is about to graduate from a community college with an associate's degree in May, but there is one class that I failed during the summer which brings my GPA down by .2 points. The way my school works is that if I retake it, my new grade will replace the F. It is an elective class for me. This may sound like a dumb question, but do colleges accept the GPA that is on my transcript even if they have a different policy about retaking classes (instead of replacing they average it)?</p>
<p>Forgot to mention that the F will still show up but it won't affect GPA.</p>
