Question about Retaking the SAT?

I took the SAT for the first official time on the Jan 24 date and I received my score morning of Feb 12. However, I had registered for March date too on Feb 9 to avoid late fee because I thought I hadn't done my best on the Jan 24 one.

Turns out I got a 2350 with a 800 CR, 790 M, 760 Wr (9 essay) ... most are telling me that I shouldn't retake it because if my score goes down on the second one, some colleges like Stanford, U Penn etc will not accept the score choice thing. I've already paid the $45 for the March one, so it will kinda be a waste of money. Can I move the March one to another date for taking SAT subject tests? I have several options:

-Take the SAT on the March date, go for >760 in writing
-Don't take it and don't get another score
-Try to move the registration to later date for subject tests?

Suggestions?

I would choose option #3. See if the College Board will let you apply the fees to a letter testing and take the SAT subject tests. Your SAT I scores are excellent and there is no need to retake.

Send your scores to your colleges.
Retake, if its worse then don't send it.

They won't know your score unless you send it. (or unless its ont he back of your official transcript)

DON'T retake, unless one of your favorite passtimes is taking the SAT. Even if you can't re-allocate the fees to another test date for the SAT IIs, it would be a complete waste of time.

Why would you retake when you have such a GREAT score? And Writing isn't that important; besides 760 is very good already. Go take subject tests!!!

So I shouldn't go for the 800 on writing and a 2390 overall? I should just skip the testing date?

Call the College Board and ask them to let the money go to a subject test date. Your scores are fine for anywhere. Congrats!

WOW!
Nice scores!
Congrats!
If you have a great GPA you are in incredible shape for U Penn and Stanford.

Good Luck and just kiss that $45 goodbye :)

Thanks all for your suggestions and well wishes.

2350 is awesome..
try option three though, otherwise just leave it at that
