question about roomates

<p>sorry for all the posts...its spring break and im babysitting while the kids sleeping so it gets kinda....unexciting</p>

<p>but i wanted to ask...can you room with someone outside your program...like if im in mcs and they are in some other school within cmu?</p>

<p>(not that i have any roomate picked out or anything) but just to be prepared...lol</p>

<p>Yes, it's possible. They try to match freshmen with people of the same major (or college) but you might get someone from a different college. After freshman year you can room with whoever you want (of the same sex).</p>
