I'm applying to several UCs and am planning to major in biology. Is it true that for a science major, I have to take both SAT: Math IIC AND a science subject, or just a science? I already have two decent SAT II scores (Bio: 710 and U.S. History:740) so I'm not planning to take the Math unless I really have to. On the UC website, it says that you have to take the Math IIC for Engineering majors but it was kind of vague about science majors. Any input would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks!</p>
<p>taking the maths will only help you. though i don't think you need maths to be bio major.</p>
