question about SAT II's

i'm planning on applying to JHU ED when i'm a senior next year, and i was wondering what SAT II's i needed...the college board site said that SAT II's were used for placement [whatever that means?] but didn't specify which ones were needed. i couldn't find anything on the jhu website unless i overlooked it. so i was wondering if someone could tell me which SAT II's i should take for any university but specifically JHU. thanks =]

I found what you are looking for:

<a href="http://apply.jhu.edu/faqs/newsat.html%5B/url%5D">http://apply.jhu.edu/faqs/newsat.html</a></p>

"The new Hopkins requirements: the SAT I OR the ACT with Writing Test. For those submitting SAT I scores, Johns Hopkins recommends submission of SAT II scores, and, if submitted, requests results from three subject tests."

So technically, you don't need to have any SAT IIs, although having them (with good score of course) would definitely boost your application. If you do submit SAT IIs, it seems that Johns Hopkins doesn't care which one's you have.
