Question about schedules???

<p>I will be attending this fall and my question is, do we only get to make our schedules once we go to orientation? From one of the booklets i read it said that your first chance of making your schedule will be at CTOPS. Does that mean I will only get that opportunity then? Because when I log on to studenportal.unc.edu there are some options concerning schedules. Does that mean I can have my schedule made there?</p>

<p>And just on the sidenote (another question i remembered): when are you sent information about paying for school?? (tuition,room,food etc.)</p>

<p>they open up a certain number of spots in all the classes during each session of CTOPS, so no, you cant schedule early. you cant even schedule earlier that day (haha we tried). you cant log into to class registration until the time designated to you on the second day of CTOPS. im not sure about the payment info though…i know it was mentioned but i dont remember.</p>

<p>You make your schedule at your designated registration time at CTOPS. During drop/add later in the summer, you will be able to make further adjustments.</p>
