Question about scholarships?

On the UMich website, it says:

"In general, equal consideration for scholarships is given to eligible students who:

have been admitted to U-M by February 1 (note that a few scholarships have different deadlines)"

Does this mean you have to apply EA to be offered scholarships? If someone could please clarify, that would be great. Thanks!

You would be smart to do that (apply EA) if you are interested in Michigan.

yea that is exactly what it means. When I got my scholarship notification thing it was feb, so obv I had already gotten in before that etc.

I got my scholarship in late April. Definitely apply early.

Tbeezer12, you say you got your scholarship in late April? Did you apply regular or early? Applying early would be smart, but umich is not my first choice, I don’t really have a first choice yet. Do they offer scholarships to regular decision applicants at all?
