Hey everyone,
So I got a 2150 on the May SATS. That's a 690 CR, 700 M, and 760 W. I had previously signed up for the June SATS because I wasn't sure how I did in May. Even though I'm satisfied with my scores, I'm going to show up next weekend because I think I can raise my math and maybe my writing score. However, CR is a weakness for me (I basically fainted when I saw 690) and I am used to scoring in the low 600s like I did on practice tests. So, what if I do better on writing and math and worse on reading? A) will colleges hold it against me and think i got lucky with the 690? And b) will I be able to send scores from different dates? I took the January SATS and got a 620 CR, 680 W, and 670 M, so obviously I wouldnt want colleges to see those scores too if I could only send the May results. Thank you!

What most colleges do is have someone look over you application and write down what your best SAT1 scores are. There are a few schools that want the best single seating score, but those that do not will take the best total. When the app is being considered, what is viewed is a sheet that has all of the pertinent info from you app summarized. Very few cases go to what is called committee and are scrutinized. So most of the time, the top total SAT is what will be relevant.
