Question about Selecting Courses

First off, do you select what courses along with which teachers you want, during Orientation?. If so, is there an advantage in going to the earliest orientation in order to gurantee placement in certain classes, or at least certain professors? And lastly, is there a way to check out which professors teach what class, so that we can actually put the Senate course guide to use BEFORE we get to orientation?

Thanks in advance

Going to an earlier orientation does have an advantage for registering for classes. Then again, I went to the last orientation two years ago, and I still was able to get good classes.

To check to see what teachers are teaching what, go to USC's website, and then you can scroll down to the bottom, and click on Schedule of Classes. The professors will be listed by the class they are teaching.

Yep.
Teachers are listed with course on schedule of classes, like USChicka said. From there you can go to www.senatecourseguide.com (which you already seem to know about) as well as signing onto OASIS and looking up past class evaluations.

And yes, the earliest orientation does have an advantage.
