So I applied to 4 cal states, 4 uc, and 1 out of state. On all of my applications I self reported both my SAT and ACT scores. My SAT was an 1170 and my ACT was a 24. I have already sent in my SAT score and the schools I applied to have received my score already. However, I was not aware that my SAT score is basically the same as my ACT score. When I convert my ACT score into SAT it’s basically the same, it is around an 1170-1180 when converted. My question is do I HAVE to send in my ACT score if I self reported, and if I don’t will they reject me and assume that I made up a score? Also I know that it costs $12 dollars to send it your ACT score to schools and I don’t have the money to send it to the 9 schools I applied to. Is it possible for me to email the schools and tell them my situation to make them understand or am I screwed?
Thank you
Youre gonna need to come up with $100. Maybe time you got a job if you cant come up with that, college is pretty important compared to one Benjamin.
Many schools let you pick either ACT or SAT so if you already sent SAT you may be fine but Id read into that more for each individual school.
My younger son self-reported both his SAT and ACT to the Cal States when he applied but only sent his ACT scores. Upon enrolling at SDSU, they asked for his official SAT score report. If you have nothing on your “do list” for these schools, then I would not send them in unless asked.
