My son took the SAT first, did poorly and then took the ACT with writing and did much better. We're planning to only send the ACT with writing to the schools, so he doesn't need to send any SAT subject tests (at least, that's my understanding). But he did very well on one subject test and the guidance counselor said we could send just that. We're having trouble figuring out how to send just that one test to the colleges. We're on the site, and it seems like an option, but find it confusing to make it work. Also, do you think it's a mistake to just send the one SAT subject test? Is it opening up a can of worms? Thanks so much. Signed panicking mom.

Question about sending just one SAT Subject test score - please help - technical and opinion questio

We figured out the technical aspect - so we just have the opinion. If ds took the SAT and some subject tests, is it okay to just send one SAT Subject test, since he’s already sent his ACT with writing scores to all these schools? Thanks!

How good is good?

Would it answer any potential questions they might have about his ability to succeed in a particular area or about his preparation?

It depends on the school. Check the website for each school and see what it says. Most schools allow you to send ACT w/ writing or SAT, but for some schools if you send any SAT scores you have to send ALL SAT scores.

This link is just to give a visual of what Suzy100 is saying. I, too, would check school websites for the most current and detailed information.

How would they know that he took any other SAT tests?
