Question about sending SAT scores...

Hello. So, after I took the SAT, my guidance counselor told me to immediately send my scores. Following her advice, I did. Now, however, there are one or two schools that I already sent my scores to that I'm not sure I really want to apply to anymore. Although it would mean wasted money on the sending fee, is it okay for me to just not apply there? Or since they already have my scores, do I have to?

"since they already have my scores, do I have to? "

Step back and think seriously about this. I’m sure an answer will come to you.

You are under no obligation to apply to those colleges. Or to any other ones.

The colleges opened a file on you when they received your scores. After nothing else comes in, they’ll just close the files.

Thank you, Sikorsky.

Also, T26E4, the shade and sass are not so appreciated, thanks.

my apologies. I understand that college admissions can be fraught with many unknowns. My experience is that many questions can be answered with some careful consideration by the student himself/herself – rather than tossing up a quick post.

Best of luck to you.
