<p>Do I still need to send this even if I don’t think I will qualify for any financial aid? It’s not that I wouldn’t want some money, I’m just pretty sure I won’t get any aid. Do I still send this Profile thing in before Nov 1st if I’m doing ED, or do I not have to worry about it?</p>
<p>if you checked off <em>will apply for financial aid</em> anywhere on the common app, i’m pretty sure you have to send it. that’s what i did at least, and i think i’m in the same situation as you.</p>
<p>If you are positive you won’t qualify for any aid, then you don’t need to complete the profile.</p>
<p>If, however, you are accepted ED and decide later that you would like to take out unsubsidized Stafford student loans, you can fill out FAFSA and the profile later and still get those loans. You are only penalized for being late and wanted a grant or work/study.</p>
