Ok so senioritis has hit me hard, and as a result I probably won't have that good grades this first semester. By that I mean I'll probably end up having 2 A's and 3 B's, and two of those Bs will be in AP Calc BC and AP English. Will these grades lower my admission chances? As it is now, I have a 3.6 UW GPA for 9-11th grades and a 1990 SAT.

Well, your mid-term grades are not that bad (3.4) considering you have 2 APs. Those grades will probably not hurt you. You will be evaluated on your whole package. Which brings you back to "Will I get in?"

If
-your unweighted GPA is very close to 3.8, and
-your SAT is at least 1960, or
-your ACT is at least 29*, and
-you have taken mostly honors, AP, or IB classes, or most that your school has to offer, and
-you have solid ec's in community service and leadership,
-you write some great essays that show your passions,

So basically, if our senior year grades drop from...let's say...a 3.8 UW to a 3.6 UW, USC won't reject because of that? And let's say that those two Bs are in AP courses.

Sometimes I'm reminded of a poem my kids' grade school teacher used to say when the kids were so concerned about every little thing that they would ask questions about every scenario that could happen...

What if an elephant, big as an ox,
hid in the hallway,
and ate your socks?

^^^^^
Don't know why you are relieved. Trends in grades are something that most schools pay very close attention to, and every one likes "upward" MUCH better than "downward". You have undoubtedly damaged your application if these grades are lower than the rest of your transcript. How much? Nobody knows, so there is no point in asking... If you like USC you apply and let the adcom have a go at it.
