Question about Sharp

Been looking at the specs online and can't find a room dimension. Would like to send a rug down with my son and have a 7'9" by 9'9" that would be perfect, if I knew it actually fit.

Anyone know what the actual room size is and whether there's enough space? I should probably just ask housing, but thought I'd try here first.

Also, we have a spare 27" t.v....do most kids have t.v.s in their room or do they use the lounges or just not watch a whole lot of t.v.? (my preference would be that he actually study and go out with friends than watch t.v., so we may wait to send it next year. But we're driving down this year, so this would be the best chance for him to actually get it into the state of Louisiana at some point in the next four years.)

Personally I would always vote for no TV, unless your son is a die hard gamer.

I have the same issue with room dimensions in JL, they give a scale of 1/8" = 1’, but of course it is meaningless since the printout will vary in size. They need a scale bar. I will write the Dean of the School of Architecture, lol. But in our case we are going to try and get in to measure first, then go get what we need. A lot easier for us though since she has most things in storage.

You’ve sold me. The t.v. is staying home. My gamer can play to his heart’s content at home over Thanksgiving and Christmas when he doesn’t need to study :o)

At Orientation they flashed a power point slide that showed the reasons freshmen flunk out their first year. Alcohol/partying/lack of discipline was tops; I think gaming was second!

I should look at the scale of the rooms. I tried to add up the length of the bed plus the desk and the closet to get an idea of the room length, but 14 feet seems awfully small…

We should buy everything down there, but truth is, I’m trying to clean out the garage. been saving furniture and rugs from the last move, hoping to pawn them off on unwitting son and roommate!

How is the wireless connectivity at Sharp?
