Question about short answer

<p>Im just asking about the short answer question on the commonapp form.
"Please briefly elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities or work experiences in the space below or on an attached sheet (150 words or fewer)."</p>

<p>Is this supposed to be the old bland description of your activity like you might be telling a friend. Basically telling it as it is. Or, is it supposed to "show something about yourself" like determination or how hard you work. OR can it be somewhat like the essays where we can tell a story about what an activity and show why its important?</p>

<p>I would do the “bland description,” because you’ll get straight to the point. A “brief elaboration” of 150 words doesn’t need to be written as an essay.</p>
