Question about some prep books

Ok I got some questions.
I am trying to buy a book that is helpful for CR,Writing MC, and essay.

I'm thinking about RR but does RR have practice tests in it?
What other books are helpful for CR and Writing sections?

and Vocabs,, those are my main problem lol
I'm considering Direct Hits Vocab Vol.1 and 2
Are they good enough?
What other Vocab prep books would u recommend?

I'd like to hear from you ^_^

bump please help me T_T

there are bunch of usesul threads about vocab and some other supreme tips. i remmeber one is tips from 2400er.

^ Are you talking about “Tips from 2400er” by Masochist?
I’ll read it , thanks.

yeah. thats the one. and i have literally been through all kinds of SAT test prep books: barron, kaplan, sparknote, online course, official guide, princeton review, Mc.

Does the blue book have guildeline or strategies like others? or does it have only practice tests?

Both. Except the practice tests only have answers.

Thanks for your help guys

For the Writing, I recommended doing college board practice test only (and prep with RR).

Critical reading is basically all the same. All prep books and all pratice tests (CB or anyother prep company) will sharpen your reading skills.

So just read.

Does RR have really good prep for writing?
hmm I should consider buying it too then.
