I'm from Virginia and was recently accepted to USC. Both parents attended, so I'm still awaiting word on the honors college, alumni schollies, other aid, etc. I recently read on the web site about sports management, and this really interests me in general and I am definitely thinking about the major. My question is, I didn't put this down as a possibility on my app for a major, and I don't know whether I had to apply seperately for this school. Can I still major in this? Does anybody know any other info about the sports management program? Thanks a lot.

S was recently accepted into the Sports Management major at USC.He also has applied for Honors/Scholarships (out of state) and hasnt heard back yet.
I do think the acceptance directly into the major would benefit you..I would contact admissions when the break is over and ask how to be considered for direct admit into the major.
The web page about the Sports Management program has alot of very good information on it,read especially about their internship opportunities. The school did send my S extra info when he requested it so maybe you could ask for that...but I think most of the info on it was on the webpages of the department..
If it helps, the Sports Management program was highly recommended to my S by two professors in other Sports Management programs (two different colleges) as being in the top 5 in the US..thats why S originally applied there!
