Question about Stanford Standardized Testing Requirement?

Hey guys,

I was on Stanford’s website and read that they require you to send all scores, for both the ACT (with writing) and SAT. I was originally planning to submit only my SAT score to schools since it’s the better of the two, but I was wondering if still need to submit my ACT if I onLY took it once WITHOUT writing.

Yes, you still need to submit it.

Official scores from ALL test dates must be sent to Stanford directly from the ACT or the College Board (the reporting agency for the SAT) OR BOTH if the applicant has taken the ACT and the SAT.

Thanks for the answer! Are there any other selective schools that have this policy? I know some schools like Yale require all scores, but only for one test. is Stanford the only one that requires every single test?

@KrazyKing5461 Harvey Mudd wants all scores, but their website doesn’t say that. They say they want all scores if you ask them on the phone.

The comments on this page state that they want all scores including all Subject Test scores: https://www.hmc.edu/admission/2015/12/11/attention-prospective-applicants-for-fall-2017/
