Question about subject requirements

Hi, I have a question...

After reading the UC Admissions website I'm a bit confused.

Are the minimum requirements for junior transfer (2 writing courses, 1 math course, 4 courses from at least two of the areas: arts, humanities, and sciences) the same as the "subject requirements"?

So, if I have AP and IB exams, for example, can these be counted towards the minimum requirements for junior transfer?

Thanks.

Passing AP and IB exam scores will count to the minimum requirements for junior transfer.
You need your “2 writing courses, 1 math course, 4 courses from at least two of the areas: arts, humanities, and sciences” in order to be able to transfer. In addition to these courses, you can cpmplete the entire IGETC pattern (if you go to a CCC) or the UC-reciprocity (if you go to a UC).
