So I am planning on taking the bio subject test in June (I am going to be studying for a bio final then anyway so it would be a perfect time to take it) but I was wondering if I should also take another one. I know some schools require you to submit all of your SAT scores but does that include all of your subject tests? Should I just take bio in june or also do another test that I wont really have time to study for?
I would try to take additional exams. When I took my bio exam I “winged” a Spanish and lit test and did about the same on all three.
I also winged Lit. Did pretty well.
If you are going to apply to any engineering program you’ll most likely need to take the Math 2 test so you might think about doing that now.
The schools that require SAT subject tests usually want to see 2, or 3 depending on the school. You can check their admission guidelines for that info. Usually Math II is a good one to take as well,
Actually, lots of engineering programs are housed in schools that do not require any subject tests.
But if you do take subject tests to apply to an engineering program, the usual ones they want are math (level 2 if you have completed precalculus/trigonometry by 11th grade) and a science (often physics or chemistry preferred).
Every university has its own SAT II requirements; there are no general or universal policies. You REALLY need to research each of your target school’s guidelines, to avoid inadvertently failing to provide some mandatory admissions documentation.
