Hi guys,

I just have a question on how the summer session at UCSD works. Like can we take classes that can satisfy our GE's or major?

For example, if i take Chem 6A in the winter, Chem 6B in the spring, can i take Chem 6C in the summer?

How long are summer sessions?

I think the credits are limited by 12 though.

Thanks for any replies! :)

Yes, units earned during summer count. The classes you want may not be available, though. There are two summer session, each about a month long. Two classes per session is a standard load.

just treat summer session like any other quarter; you can use it for GEs, to make up failed classes, to get ahead ... whatever.
