<p>I’m talking about the essay with the different quotes which you are supposed to respond to…</p>
<p>Do I need to note which quote I am responding to? It says you don’t need to refer to it but I dunno…I’m still confused as to whether or not it is a prompt that you need to talk about or merely a quote to get your brain moving in a certain direction.</p>
<p>It is a prompt, respond to the quote. My D did the one on science. Also, do not forget to put your name and HS on the essay top. Also, my D typed the quote on top of the essay; looked much better that way, shows you care about detail.</p>
<p>You respond to the quote, but you don't have to say "As so-and-so said,
[quote]
." You get the gears going on the subject, and you express yourself in the essay. I think it's more about your ideas than a literary analysis of the quote.</p>
