question about switching classes

Hi,
I am a senior this year and I wanted to change my classes for the second semester. I have applied to some Ivies and other top colleges using the Common App and I said that I would be taking Accounting both semesters. I now want to switch from Accounting to something like Geography or Sociology and I was wondering whether I would need to notify every college I have applied to of this change and whether it would drastically affect my chances at these schools? I am applying as an econ major to most schools but I just dislike the teacher who teaches the Accounting class very much so that is why I really want to switch. Also, are both of those classes okay as an alternative or would one be better than another?

Thanks for everyone's input

bump…

Please anyone? I really need to know by tonight.

I would take sociology. The same thing happend to me, and i am taking an equal level course. I dont believe emphasizing it to admissions is neccisary, you will be admitted or rejected before they realize you switched so it wont affect the decision.
