So I got accepted to a college for arts and sciences with the intended major of physician/surgeon/other, and lately I've taken an interest in the field of biomedical engineering, which they have at their college of engineering. My questions are:
1. Are the undergraduate courses really that different that I would even need to worry?
2. And if I want to change majors (and I assume schools), would they let me? I know that universities try to stop people from getting in at easier colleges and letting them transfer to more competitive colleges. How do I demonstrate to them that this is a genuine shift in interests for me?

Changing schools is as easy as signing a sheet of paper. And if you want to do bme, change as soon as you decide, the courses are pretty different from what I’ve heard.
