QUESTION: about Syracuse B.Arch

Hi there, recently I got accepted by Syracuse School of Architecture(SOA). Well, I'm pretty confused about its rank.

2011 America's Best Arch Schools (Where is Cooper?)
1.Cornell
2.Syracuse
3.Rice
4.Virginia
4.California Pol
6.SCI ARC
7.CMU
7.UTA
9.Pratt
9.USC

Why does SOA rank second? No offend :). I just don't understand why its so competitive

Thanks!

BTW, many of my friends got accepted too. Is SOA so that easy to get in?

Regarding Cooper, according to the article in Architectural Record:

“Whenever I speak or write about the DesignIntelligence Best Schools research, I add a caveat: It is important to be aware of the limitations of any ranking system. Small schools are at a disadvantage, as are newer programs, simply because there are fewer graduates; therefore, fewer professional practices are familiar with the fruits of these programs.”

The arch school is the smallest school at Cooper, which itself is pretty tiny. I think they graduate only 20 to 30 students a year.
